Daily Schedule:
7:05 am Students may enter school and report to their classrooms.
7:30 am Tardy bell. All students should be in class.
Lunch Schedule:
10:45-11:15 a.m. Kindergarten Lunch
10:50-11:20 a.m. First Grade Lunch
11:15-11:45 a.m. Second Grade Lunch
11:20-11:50 p.m. Third Grade Lunch
11:45-12:15 p.m. Fourth Grade Lunch
11:50-12:20 p.m. Fifth Grade Lunch
Dismissal:
2:00 p.m. Student Dismissal
5:45 p.m. Third Base Dismissal
Dismissal Procedures
*No students will be called out of their classrooms after 1:45.
1:50 All students must be in their classrooms for end-of-the-day announcements. *Transportation changes will be made at this time.
1:55 All car riders and parent pick-ups will be dismissed.
K students will be dismissed by the playground entrance/exit (door #5).
1-5 car riders will be dismissed from the cafeteria (door #12)
1-5 parent pick-ups will be dismissed from the cafeteria (door #11)
2:00 All walkers will be dismissed from the main entrance (door #1).
All bus riders will be dismissed by bus number to the ‘bus entrance/exit’ (door #2).
2:10 Third Base will be dismissed to the cafeteria.
Due to hallway congestion and students roaming the hallways, we cannot allow older students to link up with their younger siblings for dismissal. You must pick up each individual student at their respective locations.
We appreciate your patience and understanding with the process, but please know that the safety of your child is our number one priority!

-Take Exit 45 toward Nitro
-Turn left onto 1st Ave/WV-25 W
-Turn left onto 19th Street (Huntington Bank will be on left at traffic light)
- Nitro Elementary will be straight ahead on the left.
From Charleston:
-Take I-64 W toward Huntington
-Take Exit 45 toward Nitro
-Turn left onto 1st Ave/WV-25 W
